In 2017, when there was a reform in the organization and in the competition event, CONMEBOL finally presented a new anthem for Libertadores. The new song, which is only instrumental and does not have a lyric, was first played during the group stage draw for 2017 edition and has since been played both on official television broadcasts and on the pitch as part of the beginning of the tournament matches, as well as during the awarding ceremonies to the champions.
