FC Porto official Anthem:- Hino do FC Porto
Hino do FC Porto is the official anthem of Futebol Clube do Porto. It was composed in 1922 and is still played today at Club's birthday Celebration and other club events, as well as during the entry of teams on the field whenever FC Porto plays at home.
The lyrics were written by the writer and playwright Heitor Campos Monteiro and the music was composed by conductor António Figueiredo e Melo, cousin of António Augusto Figueiredo and Melo, who would become president of FC Porto in 1931, Subsequently, in the fifties, the FC Porto anthem was interpreted and recorded by singer Maria Amélia Canossa.
